ABOUT THE CAFÉ ON THE NEW LAKE ✻ We are a Urbanes country house in the middle of the city, under large trees, right on the New Lake in Tiergarten. Berlin's probably most beautiful traditional beer garden is about to open. And to make the trio even more perfect we have a romantic lake view in the Tiergarten. All this together since its founding in 1896 is called Café am Neuen See. Our stoves donate not only blazing flames and comfort. Its smoke also makes a rural scent that plays like a little vacation in the city with our memories. For our flames, we use only the purest CO² neutral, two year old beech wood from the Brandenburg Forest.
